After winning the show, he was entitled to a $100,000 prize to get his label running, but McCarroll turned the money down when he learned accepting would mean giving a 10% stake in his company to the Weinstein Company. ![]() Though he had plenty of people interested in buying his designs after the show, McCarroll didn’t have the funding to make a product.
